It's rainbow week! We sang so many fun rainbow songs that also taught us about how rainbows are made and what colors are in the rainbow. Here is one...
(To the tune of "Did you ever see a lassie")
Did you ever see a rainbow, a rainbow, a rainbow?
Did you ever see a rainbow light up the grey sky?
With red, orange, and yellow,
Green, blue, and purple
Did you ever see a rainbow light up the grey sky?
We also did many rainbow crafts to help us practice the order of the colors in the rainbow. Here is a picture of our rainbow streamers. I love them!
They looked so beautiful while we danced with them to all of our rainbow songs!
On Wednesday, Busy Brains came to visit Gloryland. It is basically a traveling children's museum. The children had a great time playing with all the fun exhibits. Here are a few pictures of some of the playing and learning options.
The other excitement of the week was seeing our little caterpillars for the first time. We will be watching them grow bigger, make cocoons, and become butterflies!
What a great week! Next week, we will be learning about Earth day and bugs! Here is our class newsletter for the week.
